These two ships -- 5-star MV Century Star Cruise & 4-star MV Oriental Emperor Cruise are managed by Chongqing New Century Cruises Co., Ltd, authorized by the Ministry of Communications, is a company specializing in luxury cruise package tours on the Yangtze River. “Century Star” Cruise is the newest deluxe cruise with six decks decorated in modern style. All the cabins are desigened with French window and private balcony for viewing the Three Gorges scenery; Designed and built in 1998, “Oriental Emperor” which is 81-meters long and 13.8-meters wide has five decks, 2 deluxe suites, 3 special standard cabins and 67 standard cabins, with total capacity of 142 passengers. "Centuyr Star" and Oriental Emperor" are two of its four ships on the Yangtze River. In the early 2005, the company was proclaimed the " most energetic company" on the Yangtze River by the New York Times.
