How to Book a Yangze River Cruise Package and Yangtze Cruise FAQS
How to reserve a Yangtze river cruise?
1. Visit our page of "cruise ships" and get more information on our recommended cruise ships and cruise scheduless. Then Check our cruise "ship price list" and study the ships and rates. Decide to use the cruise ship you prefer.
2. Tell us your general travel request and your contact information by email. One of our travel experts will reply to you in 24 hours. You will get our reply with the detailed travel information on the schedule and prices.
3. If you need the airport transfer or a tour package to other cities as well as the cruise of Yangze river, please send us your request. Our sales representitive will reply to you with a tour package rate.
4. Once you have received our confirmation of your cruise reservation, you are kindly requested to pay a deposit of USD200 per person to block the cruise reservation. Wire transfer, online paypal or credit card are acceptable. If your reservation is confirmed within 40 days before sailing time, you are kindly requested to pay the full amount of cruise fare. We kindly advise you of our terms and conditions with cancellation policy.
5. When we get your deposit or payment, we will block the reservation and send you a finalised cruise tour within 2 days. Please print out our finalised confirmation as your coupon.

More information about Yangtze River cruise:
Yangtze River is the longest river in China, about 6300-kilometer long, just behind Nile and Amazon river. The Yangtze river is normally divided into three parts: upstream, midstream and downstream. The first part - the upstream area is from the origin to Yichang, Hubei province; the second part - the midstream area is from Yichang to Jiujiang, Jiangxi province; the last part - the downstream area is from Jiujiang to the East China Sea ( entering the East Sea at Shanghai). Yangtze River cruise mainly refers to the cruise through the Three Gorges that are situated between Chongqing and Yichang in the upstream area. The Three Gorges are Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, from upstream to downstream, which are the most beautiful section of the Yangtze River. Some cruises start from Wuhan to Chongqing or Chongqing to Wuhan. Some even start from Shanghai to Wuhan or Wuhan to Shanghai. But most travelers prefer the golden part of the Yangtze river - between Chongqing and Yichang.
Difference between the upstream and downstream cruise sailings:
Upstream in Yangtze River cruising refers to the sailing from Yichang ( or Wuhan ) to Chongqing while downstream in Yangtze River cruising means the sailing from Chongqing to Yichang or Wuhan.
As a matter of fact, there is no big difference between the two sailings - downstream and upstream. But they do have some small difference below:
1) Shore excursions: No differnce in land arrangement
2) Time: Upstream sailing takes one or two more days than going downstream for the same length of the cruise tour.
3) Price: The Price of upstream sailing is usually lower than that of downstream sailing for most of the cruise ships.
What are your recommended ships available we can choose for the yangtze cruise?
We recommend various ships for your selection. As for the 5 star cruise ships, we offer the cruise ships from Victoria series, Regal China, Dragons series, Oriental Royal Cruises to three star ships like Yuxiang and Isabella series. The higher rated cruise ships make you more comfortable on the ship. Many of the cruise ships are managed by the local ship companies, some also run by international ship companies, such as Regal China ,Victoria Cruises and Viking.
How about the dress we should have on the cruise ship?
Actually you don't have to prepare for any special dresses on the cruise ship. But when you want to have a shore excursion or go up the top ship deck for a good view, please take proper dresses to provent you from the big wind in winter and the scorching sun in summer.
What's the price of the cruise inclusive of?
The cruise ship ticket normally includes s accommodation ( two sharing one cabin ), full meals a day, shore excursions, entertainment, performance by the staff, daily activities, 24 hours room service, and port charges. But it excludes personal expenses, tips, drinks and wine, sauna, massage treatments and other personal expenses.
If I travel alone, do I have to share with others on ship?
Your cruise ship ticket only guarantee you to have one bed on a cabin. If you prefer to have a single room on ship on your own, you are kindly requested to pay single supplement. As you know, two travellers share one room on ships. Not all ships have single rooms available. Very often we use a double room as a single room. Please ccontact your travel expert before your making any booking.
Any more information about the cabin on cruise ships?
All the luxury cruise ships like most 4 star and 5 star ships, are equipped with remote-controlled satellite color TV, central air conditioning, acoustics, in-cabin IDD, private bathroom with hair-dryer and in-ship phone.
Beside the activities on th ship, any shore excursions?
While you cruise on the Yangtze River, it doesn't mean you have to be on the ship from the beginning to the end. You have the chance to get on shore and have shore excursions. Each day you are scheduled to to have at least one shore excursion when you cruise along the Yangtze Rive. The shore excursioon of the three Gorges and Three Gorges Dam is a must. The shore excursions also cover the shore excursion to "Ghost City"-- Fengdu County, or Wanzhou or Shibaozhai; the shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream.
Remark : all the shore excusions are subject to change and will be finalised according to the weather or the real condition during that time.
