Day by day itinerary: Tour Code: CTH-005

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu ( L D )
Arrival in Kathmandu. Flight not included. Met and transferred to your hotel. Visit Durbar Square, one of three durbar squares in the Kathmandu Valley. The square is filled with temples.

Day 02: Kathmandu ( B L D )
(Group Tour)Today's activities is visit Monkey Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple
Monkey Temple: It is also named Swayambhunath, known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in parts of the temple in the north-west.. It is one of the most sacred sites of Buddhist pilgrimage in Nepal, second only to Boudhanath.
Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Bouddha, Nepal, also called Bouddhanath, Bodhnath or Baudhanath. The stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal.
Pashupatinath Temple: It is considered to be one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. It is believed that to die and to be cremated here will release one from the cycle of repeated birth and death.

Day 03: Kathmandu - Lhasa by air ( B )
After breakfast, take morning from Kathmandu to Lhasa.

Day 04: Lhasa ( B L )
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.
Potala Palace: Potala Palace is the architectural and religious wonders, former winter home of the Dalai Lama.
Jokhang Monastery: A 1,300 years old golden-roofted shrine, smaller and more manageable than the Potala.
Barkhor area: An outdoor market, lined with the stalls, selling all kinds of goods.

Day 05: Lhasa - Shigatse ( B L )
Drive to Shigatse. Get off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and transfer to your loacal hotel. First visit the Gyangtse Old Street. Then move on to Palkhor Monastery. Built as a Tibetan monastery, it is very different from other monasteries, reputed as the lord of Tibetan monastery.

Day 06: Shigatse - Lhasa ( B L )
Visit Tashilunpo Monastery, represents the Tibetan super architecture art in the last Tibetan spirit, attracts thousands of tourists and Buddhists to worship and travel every year. Drive back to Lhasa.

Day 07: Lhasa ( B L )
Visit Yambajan and Lake Namtso.
Yambajan : Located 87km away from Lhasa, covering an area of about 150,000 square meters, is situated in the basin at the foot of Nyainqentangha Mountains. Yambajan is world-famous for its spectacular phenomenon of hot springs boiling on the cold plateau.
Lake Namtso: It is the highest salt water lake in the world, situated at an elevation of 4,718 meters above sea level.

Day 08: Lhasa - Xian by air ( B L )
After breakfast, we will pay a visit to the Nobulingka, means "Jeweled Garden", was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama. After lunch, take flight to Xian.

Day 09: Xian ( B L )
Beginning the day with a once-in-a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old Terra-cotta Army of China's First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. Three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of am army of 7,000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of the First Emperor. Then visit Forest of Stone Steles Museum, the largest and earliest stele forest in China, now it has become Shanxi Provincial Museum. After lunch, continue to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the oldest structures in China. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the Xian city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xian today. Tang Dynasty Show in the evening.

Day 10: Xian - Beijing by air ( B L )
After breakfast, Then visit Xian City Wall, the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then move on to Shaanxi Museum, which considers it an obligation to be a showcase of ancient civilizations. After lunch, take flight to Beijing.

Day 11: Beijing ( B L D )
A full day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall and Temple of Heaven. The Great Wall is the landmark of China. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful environment - dense trees and rich grass with the natural colors changing with the seasons of each year. After lunch, you are returned to the downtown Beijing for a visit of Temple of Heaven. It is one of Beijing's most impressive parks in terms of architecture, color and significance. Peking Duck Dinner & Peking Opera in the evening.

Day 12: Beijing ( B L )
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public square in the world and Forbidden City which was once home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Move on to Forbidden City which was once home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch, take a half day hutong tour. Visit Drum Tower dating from 1420, ascending the big drum tower and having bird's eye view of the surrounding communities of hutongs and siheyuan. Then drive to 300-year old courtyard for a tea break. After tea break, take a pedicap to visit Da Jinsi Hutong Tao, the most famous hutongs keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area.

Day 13: Beijing ( B L )
Take a morning visit to Beijing Olympic Green. The Olympic Green, including the Olympic Stadium and National Swim Center and also includes the 680 hectares of park. Then go to visit The Chinese Century Altar. It was built to the south of the Yuyuantan Park, to the east of the Military Museum and to the west of the Tower of China Central Television (CCTV). It was built to welcome the newcentury.

Day 14: Beijing Exit ( B )
Transfer to airport for departure
