Day 01: Arrival Beijing
Arrival in Beijing. Met and transferred to your hotel. Free for rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing ( B L D )
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public square in the world and Forbidden City which was once home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch, move on to Forbidden City –which was once home to the emperors for ever 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasty. Then proceed to visit Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family. Peking Duck Dinner & Peking Opera in the evening.
Day 03: Beijing ( B L )
A full day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall and Temple of Heaven. The Great Wall is the landmark of China. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful environment - dense trees and rich grass with the natural colors changing with the seasons of each year. After lunch, you are returned to the downtown Beijing for an visit of Temple of Heaven. It is one of Beijing's most impressive parks in terms of architecture, color and significance. Back to hotel.
Day 04: Beijing - Xian by air ( B L )
Take a half day hutong visit. First visit Drum Tower dating from 1420, ascending the big drum tower and having bird's eye view of the surrounding communities of hutongs and siheyuan. Then drive to Mr.Kang's courtyard house for a tea break. After tea break, take a pedicap to visit Da Jinsi Hutong Tao, the most famous hutongs keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area. Then move on to the Prince Gong's Mansion, the private living place of He Shen, a favorite minister of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Flight from Beijing to Xian.
Day 05: Xian ( B L D )
Beginning the day with a once-in-a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old Terra-cotta Army of China's First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. Three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of am army of 7,000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of the First Emperor. After lunch visit Banpo Museum, which shows the history of Banpo Site, a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture dating back about 6,000 years. Local flavor dinner--dumpling. Tang Dynasty Show in the evening.
Day 06: Xian - Shanghai by air ( B L )
First of all, visit Shaanxi Historial Museum, which considers it an obligation to be a showcase of ancient civilizations. Then move on to visit City Wall, the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Take morning flight from Xian to Shanghai. Flight from Xian to Shanghai.
Day 07: Shanghai ( B L )
Today's highlight is your visit to Yuyuan Garden and Bazar. It is a very "Chinese" style market with everything you think can be treated "Chinese". Continue to visit the Pedestrians only Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road is a must-see metropolitan destination attracting thousands of fashion-seeking shoppers from all over the world. After lunch, visit The Bund, a splendid row of early 20th century European buildings. Back to hotel in Shanghai.
Day 08: Shanghai ( B L )
Visit Children's Palace, provide tuition in extracurricular activities such as music, dance, art, model making, science, technology and computer science. Proceed to visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower, a symbol in shanghai like the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. After lunch, go to visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, a fascinating insight into Shanghai's future. Back to hotel.
Day 09: Shanghai - Suzhou ( B L )
Pick up from your hotel around 8:00am. Full day side trip to Suzhou. Sightseeing includes Humble Administrator's Garden, Tiger Hill and Leaning Pagoda. After the tour, transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai.
Humble Administrator's Garden constructed in the Ming dynasty is the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou.
Tiger Hill and Leaning Pagoda are here in memory of He Lu, the founder of the city who died in the 6th century. It is said that He Lu was buried with 3000 swords but his tomb has never been discovered. All the workers who slaved to build the hill and the pagoda were murdered when the work was finished to keep them disclosing the location of the tomb. It is said that the hill is guarded by a white tiger.
Day 10: Suzhou - Hangzhou ( B L )
After breakfast, take a noon train from Suzhou to Hangzhou. Hangzhou is famous for its natural beauty of West Lake worldwide. Arrival at Hangzhou, visit Lingyin Temple, is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. Transferred to hotel in Hangzhou.
Day 11: Hangzhou - Guilin ( B L )
Take a morning visit to the Meijiawu Tea Plantation, seated at the hinterland of West Lake park and it boasts the most important tea production basis. Then go to West Lake, have a cruising on the West Lake. West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China. Take flight from Hangzhou to Guilin.
Day 12: Guilin ( B L )
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel around 8:30am . Full day private tour with lunch including Reed Flute Cave, probably the largest and most magnificent cave in Guilin. Fubo Hill Park, where you can has a bird's eye view of the Li River. Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of the city. After the tour, transferred to your hotel around 6:00pm.
Day 13: Guilin ( B L )
Pick up from your hotel early the morning around 7:30am. Then drive about one hour to get to the Zhujiang Pier. Then start to take the 4-hour's cruising on Li River. The cruising on the Li River is the highlight of the tours in Guilin. You will have lunch on board. You will enjoy the pretty mountains, green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.
Day 14: Guilin Exit ( B )
Transferred to airport for departure city—Hong Kong
