Our tour guide Annie gave us so much information about Beijing, the forbidden city, the temple of heaven, the great wall.......- she allways knew something about every attraction.

Day by day itinerary: Day 01: Arrival Beijing
Arrival in Beijing. Met and transferred to your hotel. Free for rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing ( B L D )
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public square in the world and Forbidden City which was once home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch, move on to Temple of Heaven --where dynastic rulers in China used to worship the heaven. Then proceed to visit Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family. Peking Duck Dinner & Peking Opera in the evening.
Day 03: Beijing ( B L )
A full day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall and Olympic Green. The Great Wall is the landmark of China. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful environment - dense trees and rich grass with the natural colors changing with the seasons of each year. After lunch, you are returned to the downtown Beijing for an visit of Olympic Green. Olympic Green hosts 50% of the competitions in the Olympic Games. With a large area of 1215 hectares, including National Stadium, the Bird's Nest and Olympic Aquatics. Back to hotel.
Day 04: Beijing - Xian by air ( B L ) Morning Flight from Beijing to Xian. Met & transferred Sheraton Hotel Xian. After lunch, visit City Wall, the most complete city wall has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then move on to Shaanxi Museum, which considers it an obligation to be a showcase of ancient civilizations. Lastly visit Bell Tower, a stately traditional building, marks the geographical center of the ancient capital. Transferred back to your hotel.
Day 05: Xian ( B L D )
Beginning the day with a once-in-a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old Terra-cotta Army of China's First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. Three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of am army of 7,000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of the First Emperor. After lunch visit Banpo Museum, which shows the history of Banpo Site, a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture dating back about 6,000 years. Local flavor dinner--dumpling. Tang Dynasty Show in the evening.
Day 06: Xian - Guilin by air ( B L ) Take morning flight from Xian to Guilin. Arrival in Guilin, Met and transferred to Hotel. After lunch, visit Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. The Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries, located five kilometers northwest of the downtown of Guilin. Elephant Trunk Hill is located on the western bank of Li River Scenery, the shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk. Back to your hotel.
Day 07: Guilin ( B L )
Full day excursion to Longsheng for the sightseeing of Ethnic culture. Longsheng is situated in the mountainous region on the northeastern part of Guilin. The natural beauty and the colorful ethnic Chinese cultures and customs attract people from all over the world. The Longji Terraces are built into the steep mountain range named "The Dragon's Backbone" about 2 hours from Guilin. The terraces look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the mountain. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel Guilin.
Day 08: Guilin - Yangshuo ( B L ) Pick up from your hotel early the morning around 7:30am. Then drive about one hour to get to the Zhujiang Pier. Then start to take the 4-hour's cruising on Li River. The cruising on the Li River is the highlight of the tours in Guilin. You will have lunch on board. You will enjoy the pretty mountains, green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Get off at the old town Yangshuo. Yangshuo is a world famous old town with its spectacular views of hills and rivers.
Day 09: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai ( B L )
Today's highlight is your visit to Yangshuo Moon Mountain. It is a hill with a natural arch. Viewed from different places, the moon takes on different shapes, forming a marvelous spectacle in Yangshuo. Big Banyan Tree, located 7.5km south of Yangshuo, is one of the main scenic attractions of Yangshuo County. The banyan tree is famous for its age and towering beauty that 17 meters high, 7.1 meters around the trunk and covers an area of 1000 square meters. Afternoon flight to Shanghai.
Day 10: Shanghai ( B L ) Take a morining visit to Yuyuan Garden and Bazar. It is a very "Chinese" style market with everything you think can be treated "Chinese". After lunch, move on to the Pedestrians only Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road is a must-see metropolitan destination attracting thousands of fashion-seeking shoppers from all over the world. Then move on to the Bund. The Bund, also called the Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. Take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Huangpu River goes about 100 kilometers from Dingshan Lake, the source, northward to Wusong Kou, where it blends into the Yangtze River. 40 km of the river is within the district of the big Shanghai. Back to hotel.
