Day 01:Arrival in Beijing
Arrival in Beijing, met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel - Tiantan Hotel or same class. Free on your own to explore the city.
Day 02: Beijing ( B L D )
After breakfast, first visit Tian An Men Square, the world largest. Then visit the imperial palace, also regarded as the Forbidden City that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch, move to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Enjoy Peking Duck Dinner & Peking Opera Show in the evening.
Day 03: Beijing - Lhasa by overnight train ( B L D )
After breakfast, have the excursion to the Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, move on to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. After dinner, you will be transferred to Beijing West Station to take overnight train NO.T27 ( starting at 9:30PM for Lhasa.)
Day 04: Full Day on the train
Spend the whole day the train. Enjoying the views on the both sides of the railway. You will tranquil countryside, small villages, crossing rivers and mountains.
Day 05: Arrival Lhasa
You continue to spend whole daytime on the train enjoying the views outside. Arriving at Lhasa at 8:58PM. Met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Lhasa. Rest of the day is free for you to get accustomed to the Tibetan climate and altitude.
Day 06: Lhasa ( B L D)
After breakfast, you start the morning tour with the Potala Palace, Sera Monastery. After lunch, move on to the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family. Dinner arranged at hotel.
Day 07: Lhasa ( B L D)
After breakfast, you will first visit the Jokhang Monastery, Drepung Monastery. After lunch, go on with the visit to the bazaar of the Barkhor area. Then head to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Dinner arranged at hotel.
Day 08: Lhasa - Shanghai by air ( B L)
Today"s highlight is to visit the Tibet Museum. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for Shanghai. Met by our tour guide and transfer to your hotel in Shanghai. Free for rest of the day to explore the city.
Day 09: Shanghai ( B L D )
After breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Museum. After lunch, take some time to walk along the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road. Then take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Next you will have a nice walk along The Bund. After dinner, enjoy amazing acrobatic show in the evening.
