Day by day itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival Beijing
Arrival in Beijing. Met and transferred to your hotel. Free for rest of the day.

Day 02: Beijing ( B L )
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public square in the world and Forbidden City which was once home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch, move on to Forbidden City –which was once home to the emperors for ever 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasty. Then proceed to visit Temple of Heaven. It is one of Beijing’s most impressive parks in terms of architecture, color and significance. Back to hotel.

Day 03: Beijing ( B L D )
Take a one day Summer Palace & hutong visit. First visit Summer Palace, a fomer summer resort for the royal family. Then back to downtown Beijing, proceed to visit Drum Tower dating from 1420, ascending the big drum tower and having bird's eye view of the surrounding communities of hutongs a Da Jinsi Hutong Tao and siheyuan. Then drive to Mr.Kang's courtyard house for a tea break. After tea break, take a pedicap to visit , the most famous hutongs keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area. Then move on to the Prince Gong's Mansion, the private living place of He Shen, a favorite minister of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Peking Duck Dinner & Peking Opera in the evening.

Day 04: Beijing - Chengde ( B L )
Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning at 7:30am. Get to the Jinshanling Great Wall before 10 o"clock. Hiking for 1 to 2 hours. Jinshanling Great Wall was named because it was built on the Jinshan Mountains. It was initially built from 1368 to 1389 in the Ming Dynasty, and in 1567 or 1570 rebuilding of the Wall was mainly directed by General Qi Jiguang. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will be transferred to Chengde. Upon arrival, visit Summer Resort( Chengde Mountain Resort ). Listed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1994, the summer resort and surrounding temples make up the biggest existant royal garden and temples, dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Back to hotel in Chengde.

Day 05: Chengde - Beijing ( B L )
After breakfast, visit Putuozongchengzhi Temple, which is also called Little Potala Palace. It is considered as a great place to go if you cannot travel to Tibet. The top of the temple complex has a commanding view of the Chengde Summer Resort. Little Potala Palace and Puning Temple are circled around the Mountain Resort on the eastern and northern sides. After lunch, move on to visit Puning Temple, or Temple of Universal Peace, built between 1755 and 1759. It is one of the "Eight Outer Temple" of Chengde. After the visit, transfer from Chengde to Beijing.Back to hotel in Beijing.

Day 06: Beijing Exit ( B )
Transferred to airport for departure
