Dongtai Antiques Market
Dongtai Antique Market located in Dongtai Road (a small road in Shanghai no more than 500 meters). This antique market in fact named “Liuyanghe Lu Craftwork Market”, but is famous as the name of “Dongtai Antique Market”. It is one of most ten famous antique markets in China. Numerous stores including more than 200 log cabins along this road have bric-a-crac, ancient nostalgic furniture, little red books, jewelry, wood carvings, porcelain and much more. Besides you can find birds, goldfish, flowers, baskets, old radios and masks.

Yuyuan Garden Curio Area
Yuyuan Garden area is an antique markets complex and the most popular place for ancient things. Parking places are often lacked as there are so many people throng there. There are many antique markets closed to Yuyuan Garden: Huabaolou curio market is under ground, Cangbaolou is situated in Shanghai Old Street, Zhenbaoguan is next to the west of Cangbaolou, Nanfeng Shangsha antique market is a newly opened one. Besides there are folk-custom and curio shops scattered along Old Street.

Jing”an Temple Antique City
Jing”an Temple market is founded for jewelry and curio in 2004 and it is the youngest one in Shanghai. With four floors for shopping it is the biggest antique market inner house. First floor mainly deals in jade article, emerald, gem and miscellaneous pieces. The second floor is major for new and ancient jade articles. The third and forth stories are special in painting, calligraphy, brushes, ink and pottery. This is slap-up district for antiques and the price is higher than others.

Yunzhou Ditan Curio Market
This market is full of temporary stalls (with goods spread out on the ground for sale). It is one of the few markets which have held the license to sale goods spread on the ground. Located along the out side walk way of “Yunzhou Qianbi Guwan Jiaoxi Shichang” (the market for trading old coins and currency). It was originated from the post market on Taiyuan Rd formed in the early 80es of the last century. This Diantan Market featured in age-old coins and paper collection like tobacco sign, spark case, stock, the press, interlink pictures tell stories, old postcard and ancient map etc.
