Huangshan located of Huangshan City in the south part of Anhui Province is one of the most famous scenic and historic interest areas. The highest peak in Mountain Huangshan is Lianhua Feng literally means Lotus Peak boasting an altitude of 1864 meters. Huangshan sits in the zone of semi-tropical monsoon climate. High mountain and deep valley make Huangshan climate change vertically. Local landform is dominant towards Huangshan weather. Huangshan weather features cloudy, brumous, humid and rainy. The climate of Huangshan is close to marine climate without too hot summer and too cold winter. Temperature difference for all four seasons is about 20℃.The highest temperature in summer is 27℃ and the lowest temperature is -22℃. The average temperature in summer is about 25℃ and the average in winter is above 0℃. Annual average snowfall days are 49 days. Average annual rainy days are 183 days. Rain fall of Huangshan mainly fastens on April to June. Wind frequently comes from southwest and north west.
There are gorgeous views from spring to winter. The four seasons of Huangshan are suitable for tourism. Midseason is from 16th of March to 15th of December. The off-season of Huangshan is fron 16th, December to 15th, March of next year. Spring: flowers are in blossom and pine trees are green; summer: it is the best time for view the pine trees and preventing sunstroke; autumn: Huangshan is famous for pine trees, rocks, red maple leaves and yellow chrysanthemum; winter: Huangshan is covered by snow and the pine trees stand in fog. Most tourists like to climb Huangshan in summer, but still lots of people think the most beautiful season of Huangshan is winter. The cloud-sea will mostly turn up in winter, and some times it can last for three days. Huangshan winter is very long, and there will be snow during the last ten-day of October, and the snow flys all over the mountain from November to next year March.
As it is difficult to predict the weather in Huangshan, remember to prepare raincoats with you. Be alert the rainy season in June.
