Nanping Village with a large scale started establishment during Yuan (1271-1368) and Mind (1368-1644) Dyansties. Nanping Village features assembling families and their ancestral temples. These ancestral temples arrange in order along a 200-meter-long axes in this village. Both magnificent and small and exquisite are composed of a unusual ancient ancestral temple complex. They are “museums” for modern people to realize the feudalism patriarchal clan system in ancient China. At the same time, over 300 age-old residential buildings from Ming and Qing Dynasties arrays along 72 lanes. Lanes and ancient building make a huge labyrinth in Nanping Village.
