Mt. Huangshan is world famous for its beautiful landscape and profound cultural resources. The World Heritage Committee of UNESCO inscribed Mt. Huangshan on the list of Natural and Cultural Heritage on the World in 1990.Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, Huangshan ( Yellow Mountains ) extend across - Shexian, Yixian, Taiping and Xiuning. Huangshan, known as "the loveliest mountain of China", was acclaimed through art and literature during a good part of Chinese history.Today it holds the same fascination for visitors, poets, painters and photographers who come on pilgrimage to the site, which is renowned for its magnificent scenery made up of many granite peaks and rocks emerging out of a sea of clouds. The Yellow Mountains are a marvel within an area of 154 square kilometres there is a crowd of peaks, 72 of which have names indicating the shapes they resemble.
Tunxi Ancient Street
At the foot of the Mt. Huangshan lies the beautiful mountain ancient town called "Tunxi". It was first constructed about 700 years ago in the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
Huangshan Scenic Area
It is a famous scenic Area with wonderful sights. The Yellow Mountains are a spectacular with an area of 154 square kilometres full a great number of peaks, 72 of which are named after the shapes they look like.
Hongcun Village
It is a typical Chinese Buffalo-shaped Ancient Village. Village Hongcun is about 11 km away from Yixian county and 65 km away from Tunxi ( Mt.Huangshan ).
Xidi Village
Village Xidi features ancient Hui architectures. It is located 54 km from Tunxi district ( Huangshan City ) and 8 km from Yixian county. Xidi Village has 124 well-preserved dwelling houses and 3 clan temples existant from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Nanping Village
Nanping Village is situated in the southwest of Yixian county. Naning Village has 300 well-preserved ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It featues well-preserved ancestral halls. It is a place full of mysterious atmosphere.
Mt. Jiuhua Scenic Spot
Mt. Jiuhua is one of the four famous holy mountains for Buddhist in China. It is located about 130 Km away from Mt.Huangshan and 220 kilometers south of Hefei, the capital of Anhui province. Mt. Jiuhua is known as a Land of Buddhism and lotus flowers in ancient time.
