Chengdu Travel Guide
Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province covering 12390sq.km. and with a population of 112,500,00. There are 54 peoples in Chengdu (there are all together 56 peoples in China), and Han takes largest population there. Chengdu is a place of fostering beautiful girls. Chengdu sitting in the heart of Sichuan Province and also is the central part of Chengdu Plain. It is as well the center of the economy, polity, culture and education of Sichuan. Chengdu is also one of the most important economic centers and transportation and communication hubs in Southwestern China. It is about 50 km form Chengdu to Dujiangyang. Leshan Mountain and Emei Mountain is about 150 km and about 2.5-4 hours by car. There are buses abd airlines from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong (12 hours by car).
Chengdu is a city with a long history and perfect location. It is called Tianfuzhiguo, which literally means "the county of heaven" or more often seen translated as "the land of abundance." It has much fog as same as Chongqing, but it has little sunshine and less than Wuhan and Shanghai (and less than London). Chengdu most days are cloudy even if without rain.
